the temperature was 42 and the wind was blowing at
around 50 sustained and gusts of 75
the clouds disappeared as quickly as
they appeared, it was absolutely beautiful

we visited the cabot cheese factory
and sugar maple farm

in a quarry

the colors are coming on strong

check out the ladders, some are missing

rock of ages granite quarry
600 feet deep, still a working quarry

hope cemetery
only headstones from the rock of ages
quarry are allowed in, so
all of the headstones are the same color

this is the little guy they are raffling off

we also visited an old castle, it was
occupied by the family until 2005
it has over 85 stained glass windows
but the place is falling apart.
