today was another old house day.
we drove down to fredericksburg, va to tour a couple of
old places with some historic value.
the house above was called chathamits claim to fame is that it is the only private
home visited by thomas jefferson, george washington and abraham lincoln.
this is the kenmore house.
it belonged to george washington's sister and her husband.
george's mother lived just a couple of blocks behind this house.
the home contains some of the most elaborate plaster work
from colonial american times.
enough of the history lesson for today.
week decided to go out wandering by herself this morning
while i was doing a little repair on the plumbing, shower drain leaking
and trying to get the spare tire back under the trailer.
she was gone for about 1/2 hour, i looked but
couldn't see her anywhere until the birds started giving her hell.
i went into the bushes but still couldn't find, her but when i
came out of the bushes she was laying by the trailer with an
eat shit look on her face
Week was just doing a little touring too; bet she had you worried. Glad she decided to come back from the wild life. You know I love old homes, send pictures. Keep on having fun!!
